Our Story

A tale as old as time...

Yep! You guessed it! Ben and Megan met at the Firehouse, and were both brought up in First Responder households...

Ben and Megan were both born and raised in Virginia Beach. They started dating at the best DoorDash time in history, during 2020 Covid. Covid times did not keep them from starting their travel adventures together! They enjoy visits to Marathon/Key West, Beaufort NC, and a few other destinations in-between. Ben and Megan cannot wait to add more destination adventures to their lives! They have also discovered their mutual love for Barcades, shelling, and Stick Figure radio.

Ben and Megan cannot wait to share one of the most important day of their lives with you on the best Holiday ever, Halloween!

Do guests need to wear costumes?

No costumes please-preferred attire is cocktail. We will have black lace masks at the seating charts for guests to wear during the reception.

What should I wear?

Cocktail attire is preferred. Depending on the weather, you may want to bring a sweater/coat. *Please take caution if wearing stiletto type heels. The property is a farm, and partially outside. There are some gravel areas and dirt/grass.

Will there be heaters?

Yes, there will be heaters.

Is the wedding inside and outside?

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be uncovered. Dinner and reception will be in an enclosed tent.
